All our services may be used for Legal purposes only. You are responsible for the content you publish and what you make accessible through any site hosted by Telopian.

We do not allow the follow:

Spam or unsolicited commercial mass e-mailing.
Illegal activities.

Cracked versions of copyrighted software or serial numbers.

Sites that contain links to pirated software or illegal contraband are also prohibited.

Illegal use of copyrighted music, video, or audio

IRC Bots

Distribution of Internet viruses, worms, etc.
Other activities that maybe legal or not but we determine to be harmful to our customers and operation.

Violation of any the policy may in suspension or possible account termination. Accounts terminated due to policy violations will not be refunded.

Acceptable Use Policy


Web site construction and management is the responsibility of the client. Telopian is not responsible for web site maintenance, file lost, information, or data. Backup of all files is recommended to a remote machine.

An annual or monthly fee is required before the account is activated which can be paid either annually in advance or by monthly instalments by Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Visa Delta, American Express, Switch, Solo, Discover, Eurocard. Telopian reserves the right to change prices at any time after expiry of the annual subscription period by giving no less than 30 calendar day’s prior notice.

Telopian is not responsible for any damages to any client's business. Telopian makes no warranties or guarantees of any kind, expressed or implied for services provided. Use of Telopian web hosting and email service is at the client's sole risk. In no circumstance will Telopian be liable for any claims resulting from the use or inability to use Telopian services - including, but not limited to, service interruptions, client errors, Internet connectivity problems, miscommunications, unauthorised access to Telopian servers, NIC problems, DNS caching, Internet bandwidth congestion, power failures, vandalism, and natural disasters.

Telopian agrees to hold confidential all information by the client confidential. When you register as a member at Telopian, you agree to accept this privacy policy and are aware that our privacy policy may change at any time. This policy will always be available for members to review at a visible place on our Web site. Members will always be told in advance of any change in our privacy policy.

What exactly is monthly transfer/bandwidth?
This is the amount of data transferred from your site to a internet user.

(e.g. consider bandwidth as fuel, every time someone clicks on your website they use this fuel. when this fuel runs out, you have to buy more or wait till the end of the month in order for users to view your site).

Do you offer discounts on multiple purchases of your web hosting plans?
No. But discounts are offered on yearly purchases.

Will there be advertising on my site?
No. It’s yours to do as you please within the terms and conditions.

How do I upload my site?
You can use any ftp program or thru your cpanel control panel.

Can I get a dedicated IP?
Yes. Very few sites would require this. If you purchase a SSL then you will need this.

How long does it take to set up a new account?
If you order during normal business hours ( 9am - 6pm Monday - Friday ), it can be setup within the hour. If you order after business hours, it will be setup within 10 hours or less?

How long does Domain registration (NIC) take?
Domain registration and transfers can take up to 72 hours, but in my experience so far, it usually takes about from 4 hours.


Reseller Hosting FAQ

What is overselling?
Overselling enabled is where we take the amount of disk space and bandwidth used between all your accounts. For example, if you went with the 2 GB space and 20 GB bandwidth plan and you decided to offer plans such as 1 GB space and 10 GB bandwidth on your site, you would only be able to offer it to 2 clients. With overselling enabled, you would be able to offer as many as you want as long as the aggregated amount does not go over the 2 GB space and 20 GB bandwidth. With overselling enabled, you are able to make more money with less invested and able to keep up with the competition.

What are private nameservers?
Private nameservers are example ns1.anydomain.com and ns2.anydomain.com

How long does it take a setup an account after I order?
If you order during normal business hours ( 9am - 6pm Monday - Friday ), it can be setup within the hour. If you order after business hours, it will be setup within 24 hours or less.

Do you support my end users directly?
We do not support your end users directly. You are responsible for your client's support. If you don't know the answer to a support question, you can contact us 24/7 for the answer and we will mail it to you.

Who bills my customers?
You are responsible for your own customer billing.

What prices can I set for plans?
Anything you want, that's up to you to decide.

What sites can I host on my reseller account?
Anything within the terms and conditions
